Brisbane Food & Wine Expo – 3 days in July
The Brisbane Food & Wine Expo is a long weekend brimming with wine, chocolate, cheese and all things gourmet. It’s held at the Brisbane Showgrounds and is next scheduled for 20-22 July 2018.
Bringing together over 100 exhibitors, this is an unmissable event for food and wine lovers. Some of Brisbane’s best chefs take to the stage, including cooking demos from My Kitchen Rules and Masterchef contestants.
As well as enjoying samplings from food producers and winemakers, you can also watch cooking demonstrations and check out the latest in homewares and kitchenwares. This expo is one of Brisbane’s most popular foodie events so get your tickets as soon as they go on sale!
Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show – 3 days in October
The Brisbane Good Food & Wine Show is held over three days at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 27 to 29 October, 2017. If you enjoy discovering new foods, new wines and the latest kitchen products, then this is the festival for you.
Show highlights for 2017 include the Good Food Theatre, featuring local and national chefs cooking food live on stage (this is included in your ticket). EAT is another experience not to be missed! It’s a pop-up restaurant featuring some of Brisbane’s best local restaurants. The Cellar Door Sessions will also be a popular choice for Australian wine tastings.

Great Australian Bites – 4 days in January
Great Australian Bites is a mini food festival held annually on Australia Day at River Quay in Southbank. It starts on the Friday night of the long weekend and goes for four days.
Bringing together Brisbane communities, this fun food event showcases Queensland produce and is all about celebrating local. It features pop-up food tasting stalls from local eateries, homegrown musical artists, and lots of entertainment to while away a sunny afternoon on a full stomach!
Entry is free with payment just for food and drinks.
Regional Flavours – 2 days in July
Regional Flavours is a two-day free food and wine festival on 21 and 22 July, 2018. It’s held in the South Bank Parklands and is a collaboration of local cafes, restaurants and bars.
Though it’s only on for two days, the festival is quite extensive. Spread out over seventeen hectares along the waterfront, it includes eighty market stalls showcasing delicious food, wine and beer, fifty free cooking demonstrations, kids activities and stage performances with live music.
This is a Brisbane food festival that caters for all the family and is definitely one you won’t want to miss! The next Regional Flavours programme is available in early 2018.
