We all know we need at least 20 minutes a day of cardio to keep us fit and healthy. But when things get busy with work or the kids, your exercise routine can fly out the window.
Trying to make time to go to the gym can be just too hard, and not everyone wants to fight with traffic or pay high membership fees.
Hiring a treadmill for home use is the answer to your problem, it’s either that or giving up on exercise altogether, and we don’t recommend that!
Why hire a treadmill?
The key to any exercise is routine and consistency, and if you have a treadmill in your own home, then you’re much more likely to use it. Even for those who regularly work out, a treadmill is an essential piece of home exercise equipment in the cold winter months. Forget about sweating in an un-airconditioned gym in summer too! You can work out in the comfort of your own home and then cool off in the pool (if you have one), bliss!
With a hired treadmill you don’t have to worry about queuing to use it. Nor do you need to concerned with what you look like, what you wear, what music you listen to…or any of that palaver you get at the gym. For people with busy lives, it can be a blessed form of time out from a stressful job, kids or household chores. Just pull on some comfortable workout gear, shut the door and have some ‘me’ time. You can even catch up on the latest episode of your favourite show, without anyone interrupting.
At the end of a workout, you’ll feel de-stressed, re-energised and ready to face the world again.

Treadmill tips
If you’ve never used a treadmill before or are out of the habit of running, here are some helpful tips to lessen the risk of injury.
- Take it slow! Don’t start out at full capacity as you’re likely to strain something and end up at the physio.
- Get some good shoes! Ones that are designed for running and that have shock absorbers, and/or inner arch support if you have pronation.
- Always warm up and cool down! Never work out on cold muscles, do some slow walking to warm up and leg stretches (off the treadmill) after your workout.
